Niagra Falls, CN tower and Toronto (Centre) Island

Ok I've been busy running around this place looking at all sorts and not been able to write my blog. Caitlin would help me but shes getting ready for bed as we're going to America tomorrow.

So back to Niagra falls...

Caitlin has planned most of the stuff we've done just because she does. And this bus was to the casino Falls View, rather than the falls, as a way of getting there. But we had to go into the casino first as thats what we were technically there for. So we went into the casino with a free $10 to spend. I lost it all on various fruit machines virtual black jack etc where Caitlin managed to get $13. Before we left for lunch, which was an amazing all you can eat buffet, I wanted to play a proper game of roulette. The table accepted a minimum of $15 so I put 20 down, what the hell.

I lost $15 on black, which I didn't worry about i mean thats why its gambling isn't it. Then I said to Caitlin "choose a number for us to put the last 5 on" she said 5, 7 or 8 so I placed it between 7 and 8 only for it to land on bloody 8!!

I won $90!!!!

Which I quickly cashed in!

Then on to the falls which are very impressive, I don't think I've ever seen a large water fall in my life, let alone been near the edge. We didn't go on a boat ride as the queues were hours long. But I can always go another year...

Its getting late so I'm going to make the next parts shorter.

I spent the Sunday with Johanna (Caitlins sister) and we visited the CN tower. I have to say its impressive and the glass floor was very weird (my legs went odd when looking down that far) but its expensive for what it is. The Berlin TV tower was better value and just as impressive though it did lack the glass floor which was the best part.

I though about going on a tour of the Steam Whistle brewery but instead I drank the free beers and left without paying :)

Today I've been around the Centre Island, which is actually a very nice place to look at even though the 'amusments' are about as exciting as paignton pier.

There is more to this story but time is passing and I have to get up for 5 tomorrow, or 10 in the morning for you lot. I hope to update from New York but we will see.

Peace out from M-bomb... I mean, ah well i'm just tired. Night all.
Caitlin's note: As Matt said, we are heading on a tour to the States tomorrow. It should be interesting to say the least. In fact, they may not even speak english on the tour/bus. But it's super cheap so I think it's worth the trade off.....maybe.....

Looks like you are having a great time bud, make sure you see the flat iron building, ground zero moving but you gotta see it, amazing how small the site is considering how tall the towers were. Anyway enjoy. Andy
